The components of the teams
The team that will face the trip is formed by eight people chosen on the basis of their artistic sensibility, specific technical capabilities and of course on the basis of the logistical needs of the project.
Three photographers of international fame, (Giuliano Radici - www.giulianoradici.com - Theo Volpatti - www.theovolpatti.com-, Stefano Zarpellon - www.zast.it -) will embark on the Royal Enfields and the Ambassadors and dedicate themselves to collect material geared toward the three key themes of the trip, Children, Religion, Borders.
They will be joined by two other photographers, Andrea Gilberti -www.flatloftagency.it and Jean Claude Manfredi homepage.mac.com/jcmphotoe, two video operators (Valerio Ferrario www.valerioferrario.it and Daminao Nava www.damianonava.it) that will document the journey and Pierangelo Reboldi as a photographers assistant and driver.
Giuliano Radici – Photographer
www.giulianoradici.comborn in Italy on the tenth of August 1957. “for profession and curiosity for what is fine and what is bad…photographer” Some of his photographs appear in various public and private collections. Personal exhibitions and publications on Zoom International, Gente di Fotografia, News Polaroid and Private have made him popular with the public. Books such as “Remya, mia figlia Indiana dell’India” , “Cambodia” and "Che il passo lento dell'elefante ti porti lontano", “Simple Objects” end “Pakistan” have received the critics’ acclaim.
Theo Volpatti – Fotografo
www.theovolpatti.comwas born among the Valtellina mountains in Italy. He moved to Milan to follow his University courses at Politecnico. In the same period he began to deepen his interest for photography attending courses at I.E.D. In 1999 he moved to New York where two years later he finished his studies with a specialization in photography.
From 2001 his images have been projected annually during the initiative “La Milanesiana”, under the sponsorship of the Province of Milano, held at Palazzo Isimbardi. His shots introduced and remarked on performances of worldwide known writers and artists.
In 2002 he documented many pacifist demonstrations in the U.S., and started an ambitious project on Jewish neighborhoods in New York with the aim to illustrate a possible cohabitation among different ethnic groups.
In 2003, he introduced four unusual portraits in occasion of the exhibition “Young American Photographers: Challenging The Future”, held at “Gallerie des Galleries”, Gallerie La Fayette in Paris. In the same year Teti Editore Publishing House, located in Rome, in collaboration with RCS, housed Volpatti’ shots in occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Italian photographers .The photos were shown at the Exhibit Palace in Saint Petersbourg for the anniversary of the city foundation. Putting to good use his employment as university assistant to Photography Courses at Bir-ziet University (Ramallah - WestBank), Theo embarked on a wide reportage on Occupied Territories;an intimate cross-section about daily life in that region.
In 2004 he documented and collaborated on the project “Looking for Alfred”, directed by Belgian Artist Johan Grimonprez. Related images they have been exhibited in London, at The Photographer Gallery, as well as at the National Museum in Rotterdam and at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels. A book is expected in September 2007. Also in 2004, in occasion of the Festival “Portfolio in Piazza”, held at Savignano, Volpatti won “Marco Pesaresi Scholarship” for his project “Palestine”, a reportage about daily life of Palestinians.In the same year he joined Contrasto photo agency. In 2005 he documented the making of the movie "Musikanten", directed by F.Battiato, starring Alejandro Jodorowsky.
In 2006 he participated at the Rencontres Internationales de la photogarphie in Arles, France, with a Video Projection titled Trans Siberian Window. In the same year Volpatti’s work is part of a project on China, "Beijing in and Out" sponsored by Contrasto photo agency, projected in 2007 at the Rencontres Internationales de la photogarphie and at Triennale Bovisa in Milan. Over the last few years he has worked for a range of different national and international magazines.
Stefano Zarpellon - Fotografo
www.zast.itStefano Zarpellon is born in Italy.
It begins in 1994 its collaboration how assisting for photographers in the fashion and publicity.
From 1997 it collaborates for four years he press Superstudio 13 Intermoda to Milan.
It continues the collaboration how assisting free - lance and like digital tech, for the more important international photographers, campaigns, magazine and countries, is in Italy that abroad.
From different years it works on different personal projects in part concluded, other all now in course of work, some of these you work they were rewarded in national shows and international.
Lives at Milan and works wherever.

2007-2008 - Charged from the UILDM (Italian Union Struggle to the Muscular Dystrophy) works with other four photographers works on a photographic project, "RELEASES BLOCKED" becoming a photographic show to the
Space Events 10 of Milan www.scattibloccati.it. Purpose of the project/show, to tell with new eyes and without prejudices the Muscular Dystrophy.
2006 - the portfolio "TV Hotel" comes chosen between the portfoli looked at during the edition of the "Photo Folio Review & Gallery to Arles" (France) in occasion De Les Rencontes De the Photo 2006. Chosen from world experts of photography,
on 1260 coming portfoli from different continents.
